Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our assisted living and memory care facilities
  • This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while fostering a supportive environment
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Provide personal care and support to residents in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs when necessary
  • Engage residents in social activities and promote their emotional well-being through companionship and conversation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living areas, ensuring a safe environment
  • Document resident care activities accurately using EMR systems
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Support residents with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when required
  • Assist with behavior management strategies for residents with special needs or challenging behaviors
